Our Approach to Musculoskeletal Care
Our Sydney CBD chiropractors have helped thousands fix their musculoskeletal problems. We can get results for older injuries, those that are unresponsive to conventional treatment or the result of surgery.
We are experts in treating your joints and soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, fascia) and have developed a multidisciplinary approach to ensure you get the very best advice and care by an expert in that field.
We only use leading and innovative technologies and techniques, ensuring you get the best possible treatment outcomes.
By following our recommendations, you can minimise the toll on your body overtime. When your joints wear out, your treatment options are limited. In cases where extensive damage has already occurred, our approach is to ensure the area works as best as it can.
At the heart of it, we are body mechanics.
We watch your body move to identify the exact structure that is causing your problem and then endeavour to correct it.
- If a joint is tight, we restore its movement,
- If a muscle or fascia is tight, we get it to lengthen
- If a nerve can’t slide, we get it to
This is done so you can get the most out of your body when doing the things you love to, want to, or have to.
In our experience, the best way to do this is with your hands. They are the most accurate and precise instruments available for this type of work. You need to get in there and break up scar tissue to restore blood flow and freedom of movement. Sometimes this is not pleasant but you will feel the difference when a change is made.
Muscles move joints. They are attached. If one is a problem the other is as well. To fully address most musculoskeletal issues you need to address movement restrictions in your joints. If necessary, we do this by adjusting or “cracking” your back or other joints. Think of it as a quick stretch to the joint to restore flexibility. It is safe and in the right hands very effective.
We have been doing this for a while now and this is what we know. If you have ongoing problems one or more of the following has not been addressed:
- Shortened muscles lengthened
- Stabilising muscles strengthened
- Breathing patterns addressed
- Flexibility restored to overstressed joints
- Tension on nerves relieved
- Good posture and ergonomics maintained
- Proper foot mechanics established
We have set out to provide you with the best advice and techniques to address the above-listed aspects of musculoskeletal problems. We have taken from a variety of disciplines with the aim to provide you with the best chance of conquering your aches and pains and achieving your goals.
We can’t fix the unfixable, but we are pretty good at everything else. Sometimes, unfixable is a matter of opinion [The 4-Hour Body, Tim Ferris].
